More than five years ago, the Turkish Armed Forces and affiliated mercenary factions invaded

over the villages and towns of that region, and since the date of that control on the eighteenth of
March 2018 The crime did not stop for one day against the people of the region, and you certainly
realized the fact of These human rights violations, foremost of which is the demographic change of the composition
population in order to eliminate its national privacy and obliterate its Kurdish identity through
Bring in the families of the militants from all the Syrian governorates and resettle them in homes
Forcibly displaced Kurds from Afrin and the rest of the Kurdish cities in northern Syria and Building
Settlements them with the support of Gulf money, not to mention cutting thousands of olive trees
Thousands of forest trees were burned, as the Turkish military incursions took place
The Turkish-backed National Army factions continue to commit grave violations
These include murder, looting, unlawful appropriation of property and enforced disappearance
and rape.
Even the devastating earthquake in the region in February 2023 did not curb hatred, hatred and racism
These factions are against the Kurdish families in Jenderes (a sub-district of Afrin), which has been damaged
Hundreds of buildings in it left more than a thousand families homeless and deprived of relief items
And tents and keeping them in the open without help and other crimes that amount to crimes

At a time when the Kurdish city of Jenderes did not recover from the effects of the devastating earthquake
Newroz, as a national holiday for the Kurds, members of the Eastern Army faction fired bullets
On some Kurdish youth while lighting the flame of Newroz, which symbolizes freedom and salvation As a result, four Kurdish citizens from one Family were Killed and three were wounded, where they exercised their most basic rights in celebrating their national day
This killing after more than five years of unaccountable human rights violations
At the hands of the Turkish forces and their mercenary factions.
Therefore, and based on the responsibility that rests on the international organization in which you represent the top of the pyramid
Which preserves human life and dignity, we ask as civil and human rights organizations, petitioning from Your Excellency:
1- Holding Turkey legally responsible for the crimes committed against Kurdish civilians
By soldiers and mercenary factions affiliated with it, accepted it as an occupying force.
2- Expelling all armed factions from the Afrin region and the rest of the Kurdish cities in the north
Of Syria.
3- Sending a team from the International Commission of Inquiry on Syria to the Afrin region to Stand up on the reality of what is happening there.
4- Referring the file of the committed crimes to the International Criminal Court through the Security Council. –
5 – Stop building settlements and open humanitarian corridors for the return of displaced Kurdish families to their homes.
6- Demanding Turkey to end its occupation of the Afrin region and the rest of the cities of northern Syria and to return to international borders.
7- Placing the Afrin region under international protection and handing over the region to a civil administration for a while
Finding a political solution to the Syrian problem in accordance with UN Resolution 2254.
8 – Immediate release of all detainees in the prisons of the armed factions affiliated with
The name of the national army.
